Finely Machined from a Single Block of Aluminum
The case is meticulously CNC-milled from a solid block of 6061-T6 aluminum, a highly-regarded alloy favored in aircraft engineering for its outstanding strength, durability, and resistance to corrosion. After precision machining, the aluminum undergoes a meticulous bead blasting process to achieve a uniform matte finish, elevating its sleek and contemporary aesthetic. It is then anodized, enhancing both its durability and resistance to wear and corrosion while imparting a refined and enduring finish.
Wear Cutting-Edge Material
The straps are crafted using advanced 3D printing technology with Thermoplastic Elastomer (TPE) material, employing Selective Laser Sintering. TPE is valued for its flexibility, resilience, and durability, making it an excellent choice for comfortable and long-lasting watch straps. Its smooth, tactile finish provides a uniquely pleasant feel, enhancing the overall comfort of wearing the watch.
Japanese Precision Movement

Crafted by the esteemed Seiko manufacturer, this movement ensures accurate timekeeping and robust performance. Known for their meticulous craftsmanship and innovative engineering, Seiko has a long-standing reputation for producing some of the finest watch movements in the world.

The Story
Everything started with sketching. I filled almost a full sketchbook with ideas for this project, exploring every possibility and refining each concept. I truly believe that sketching is the key to quickly bringing an idea to life. The process of drawing allowed me to experiment freely, capturing the essence of what I envisioned for the watch. Each sketch represented a step closer to the final design, balancing aesthetics, functionality, and uniqueness.
Prototyping is an extremely exciting part of the journey. It is where my sketches find a physical form and where all the unexpected real-world challenges begin to surface. The straps and the clasp of this watch are particularly different from any other watch. The straps are 3D printed using a very strong yet flexible material, produced with industrial high-quality printers. The clasp, made from aluminum like the rest of the watch, allows for precise adjustment of the strap's tension on the wrist while remaining easy to use.
The final step is finding reliable partners to produce all the parts. The most critical components are the CNC parts, manufactured in a factory near Hong Kong with over 10 years of experience. The straps are printed in the Netherlands, ensuring high quality and durability. The Seiko movements are sourced from a verified German reseller. Each piece is meticulously crafted and assembled, culminating in a watch that embodies the journey from sketchbook to wrist.
